HISTORY
Ed Seeley and son-in-law, Bill Arnill, formed a partnership in Dundalk Ontario in 1946 to become local road builders and bridge contractors. The company originally saw a niche and focused its efforts to building new roads in Northern Ontario. In 1971 Seeley & Arnill expanded its operations and bought property in Durham, Ontario to became aggregate suppliers and asphalt contractors. In 1986 a division called West-Can Seal Coating Inc. lead by Norm Charles and Paul Arnill was formed and branched off to Delmany, Saskatchewan. West-Can originally focused its efforts in seal coating across Saskatchewan and Alberta. As our team grew and horizons expanded, West-Can moved its operations to Brooks, Alberta and most recently in 2000, moved headquarters to Didsbury, Alberta. Employing more than 175 individuals in the summer season, West-Can Seal Coating Inc. has grown into a diverse privately held company that has the skill sets to build, maintain and custom design road solutions. We pride ourselves in placing customers first and creating long lasting relationships.
